Very friendly, take a lot of time to discuss things and will not try to sell you a treatment that is not necessary. Everything was taken care of perfectly during the treatments, and I think the costs were not too bad.After my treatments, based on what I read about 'Heat Shock Proteins', I had some questions and inquired about the costs of a consultation. But they took the time to answer my questions completely free of charge. What a relief after a number of less good experiences at the AvL, where I was left with many unanswered questions.During the conversation I also received a tip to take a look at the site of Dr. Albert Kroon, former professor of physiological chemistry, who has done a lot of research into the antibiotic Doxycycline, which appears to have anti-cancer properties. That put me on an interesting path, namely the realization that there are many very safe, cheap and easily available drugs that appear to have a strong anti-cancer effect (google for example 'Repurposing Drugs for Oncology'). It's just very nice to meet someone who thinks along with you and is not hindered by the protocols of the mainstream medical world. After the hyperthermia treatments, my tumor markers continued to rise, but much less quickly than after my chemotherapy (unfortunately, most hospitals do not mention the possibility of hyperthermia and how it can enhance the effect of chemo, so I only found out after my chemotherapy, which means that the effect of the hyperthermia is less than with a combination).However, when I started taking Doxycline according to the protocol. Crown, my tumor markers dropped for the first time in two years. If I hadn't gotten the tip, I might not have known.In 2022, as a stage 4 patient, I had achieved my 5-year survival (20% chance) and, according to my oncologist, there is little chance that the cancer will come back. My belief is that Doxycycline and Dr Albert Kroon, about whom I was tipped off at the Hyperthermia Center, were the deciding factor, so indirectly, by listening and by being prepared to think 'outside the box', they saved my life, but I think that the treatments themselves certainly also made a positive contribution in combination with that.

After 32 radiation treatments and 2 operations, unfortunately my squamous cell carcinoma in the neck had not completely disappeared, so I was given immunotherapy in July 2022. I had read about hyperthermia and what attracted me was that the combination of immunotherapy/hyperthermia was discussed.That's why I drove from Rotterdam to Amsterdam twice a week for the treatment for 1 year. Doctor Sramek really helped me throughout the year, Michael and Debby were always there for me, which made it a bit easier to make that journey every time. because in total I was on the road for at least 4 hours each time..I am not an expert, so I cannot say with certainty whether the hyperthermia helped.However, I can express my personal feeling/thought and that is that I certainly think that the treatment pembroluzimab has done most of the work, but that the hyperthermia is certainly also partly responsible for the result achieved because I received the fantastic news in January 2024 that There was nothing left to see on the scan. Now that is of course not a complete guarantee that it will be ready, but I can certainly enjoy the moment and I can start planning something again little by little.So I don't think it helps, it doesn't do any harm, it certainly helped me mentally during the treatment to continue to believe that the treatment with pembroluzimap / hyperthermia / and vit c infusion twice a week would eventually make the tumor disappear.So if you have any doubts, the Amsterdam Hyperthermia Center is definitely recommended with really great people who will assist you before/during and after the treatment.

My experience at the Centrum Hyperthermie was very positive. Michael especially was kind, attentive and always professional.As well as hyperthermia treatments, the high-dose IV Vitamin C infusions were most helpful. I would recommend this Centre because there is an emphasis on caring for clients rather than just treating them and sending them on their way.

My experience to go for treatments here is very positive. The doctors and assistants are so loving and caring. Recommend it to all in difficult times with your health.

Best service! They help you when someone else says your life is over. We are from Belgium and the doctor at the hypertermia center immediately looked at my husband's file and advised us to first try to see a doctor in Belgium because my husband is weak for such a long journey, if necessary we will still go to the Netherlands for further support.
