About Williams Cancer Institute

All the therapies used at Williams Cancer Institute are highly advanced and minimally invasive. The clinic uses a specialized needle guided by diagnostic imaging techniques to directly access the tumor without leaving noticeable wounds, scars, or burns on the patient’s body. This greatly lowers the danger of bleeding and infection while vastly improving the treatment’s aesthetics.

Williams Cancer Institute gives the immune system the best resources possible to recognize and fight cancer.

I am a patient of William’s Cancer Institute and have had an excellent experience. Dr William’s and his team offer hope, when there was no other treatment that could offer any hope. The science behind their work just makes sense, the team is top-notch and patients are treated with care. Highly recommend! I’d also like to specifically highlight our driver Christian. He’s the first friendly face you see when you arrive and he is so kind and helpful making the experience even more complete. Thank you to the whole team.
Words are not enough to express my gratitude to Dr Williams and his team at Williams Cancer Institute – it’s world class cancer care!I was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma in Australia last year which was deemed inoperable and incurable. I researched the world for treatments and found Dr Williams through his book The Immunotherapy Revolution. I could not believe after researching the world for a cure (and not finding one) that I had indeed found a treatment and cure. I made contact with Williams Cancer Institute and within 2 months I was on a zoom call with Dr Williams who informed me that intratumoral immunotherapy and PEF ablation is well suited to treating my type of cancer. About 4 weeks later I flew to the US and then through to Los Cabos for treatments. The process is relatively simple and easy and the procedures are straightforward (there is little discomfort and almost no pain). You can resume life as soon as you leave the hospital.Dr Williams and his extended team at Cabo are excellent – they are thoughtful, kind, compassionate and are happy to listen to all your questions and provide answers. The hospital is first-class and all the nurses are great. Eduardo who was my first point of contact and organizes all procedure and lab appointments and is also at each and every procedure has been fabulous - patient and friendly and always answers all your questions. Thanks Eduardo!A very special thank you to Dr Williams’ exceptional nurse, Vanessa, who is nothing short of remarkable – kind, calm and efficient and always makes you feel comfortable and welcome.Another thank you to Christian, the driver who picked me up from the airport and for each and every procedure – what a guy! He is so personable, happy and friendly. He goes out of his way to make sure you feel welcome. Thank you Christian!Dr Williams is at the cutting edge and pioneer of immunotherapy treatments for cancer and his role in this area cannot be underestimated! He is indeed a savior to all those who have no hope of a cure. I am living testament to the effectiveness of the treatments. The Australian doctors are shocked and surprised that I’m alive and thriving. As my tumor was large and required a number of treatments over many months, I stayed in San Jose Del Cabo close to the hospital for each procedure. You do not need to know Spanish as most locals speak good English (just the basic hello/how are you/thankyou/goodbye is helpful). The weather is stable every day – perfect for a holiday. Getting around is easy and inexpensive with Uber.I travelled on my own from Australia and stayed in San Jose by myself with no problems whatsoever (both in low and high season). I’d highly recommend anyone from overseas to seriously do you research into intratumoral immunotherapy and PEF ablation for solid tumors with Williams Cancer Institute and look at staying in San Jose del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas and having all the required treatments prior to flying back home again.I am currently back in Australia and well on the way to being cured. Dr Williams will monitor my immune system’s progress and tumor via CT/labs and advise updates.Happy doesn’t begin to describe how you feel after being given a second chance – it’s a surreal feeling that only those who have travelled this road before truly know.Thank you Dr Jason Williams and your dedicated team at Williams Cancer Institute for giving me another chance at life – there is no greater honor!
I can't express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care and support I've received at Dr. Williams Cancer Institute. From the moment I began my treatment journey, their dedicated team has been with me every step of the way, providing world-class care that has far exceeded my expectations. The staff truly cares about their patients, always ensuring that my treatments are personalized and effective.A special shout-out to Cristian, who has gone above and beyond to make sure I am always on time and comfortable for every appointment. His punctuality, kindness, and attentiveness have made a significant difference in my experience. Having a driver like Cristian, who is not only reliable but also compassionate, has taken a huge weight off my shoulders during this challenging time.Thank you to Dr. Williams and the entire team for being such a crucial part of my recovery. I highly recommend their services to anyone seeking compassionate, effective cancer care.
Grateful for the care that Dr Williams and his staff gave to my wife. As all know, dealing with cancer causes high emotions and stress. His team has continued to be patient with us and was there when we needed them. Highly recommended!
I would not recommend. We spent a lot of money for subpar care and terrible communication. I have a camera roll full of unanswered messages. My husband failed the treatments and also had a stent become dislodged that they placed for another five digit expense (with zero offer to replace, we were just thrown to the wolves on that one. We’ve since had normal replacements three times and never had an issue with a stent becoming dislodged ). Dr Williams had another doctor we had never met place it. However, that and failing the treatment aren’t the main reasons for review. It was the lack of concern and lack of organization for the amount of money we spent. And mostly, being ghosted at the end when it didn’t work. It made my husband feel his life doesn’t count, like he was never their priority during his procedures. We were told there would be a plan B in Mexico City, but we never heard from them. Again, I have screen shots of ignored messages. I have the zooms recorded, one was before he lost zooming privileges - and again we were stuck with a doctor we had never met who knew nothing about us during his consult. He too stated we’d hear from them but we didn’t. Again, they threw us to the wolves, costing us more PRECIOUS TIME waiting for them to respond about our second chance at treatments (note we were told in initial consult he could see us in a “few weeks”, I had to keep begging to get an appointment set, wasting time). Then, just having to start from scratch again was a horrible experience for us. No cancer patient should be made to feel how this experience made us feel. I’ve seen a similar review and spoke with another family who had the same experience. Their loved one is dead. Dr Williams lives quite the extravagant life -globe trotting, personal jets and yachts, so the five digits we spent on the stent is a drop in the bucket to him. It was a lot to us after the roughly six digits spent on a failed treatment and subpar care and horrible organization. Again, I realize cancer treatment is a crapshoot, but there is no excuse for the subpar care/communication my husband received. At the very least, he should’ve offered to replace and not just sent us out of Mexico with kidney function declining because of a stent they placed failing. We’re not the first family he has ghosted. So just be aware. And also be prepared for pushback from local doctors if any issues arise secondary to treatment there or from cancer in general. That was a whole other issue for my family - trying to get the stent replaced after being placed in Mexico. Again, we wasted more PRECIOUS TIME dealing with that.
Be careful with this place. The actual treatments are very nice. No side effects, very easy to tolerate. Very little communication with doctor. My treatments did not have significant effect. I had more cancer at the end. After the treatments were done I never heard from them again. I am at a better place now. This place was just a waste of money for me.
Our experience has been top notch!! Starting with the driver Chris who went above and beyond in making us feel welcome to every person we encountered at the hospital!! They made us feel like family and we feel so blessed!!!
Cata, our driver was very welcoming and made everything easy. He has a lot of great information about the area. We feel lucky to have him. Tela and Eduardo are very responsive to our needs and Angie is very helpful too. Dr. Williams provide fantastic care and always helps us have certainty that my husband's condition is improving. Thank you very much. You are a great team.
Had my first treatment two days ago- everything went smoothly. Dr Williams met with us before and after the procedure, Eduardo and Jessica were very easy to coordinate with.Cata the driver was also great- picked us up and brought us to the clinic, and the airport. He’s a good driver!
We had amazing care with the Williams Cancer Institute. Eduardo was so kind in helping me to get there. When we arrived we were greeted with kindness. It would help to know a little Spanish but not necessary. Dr. Williams comes into speak to you beforehand and tells you what to expect and answer any questions. You wake up from the anesthesia easily. You don’t need a lot of pain medicine initially. This may differ from person to person. I would recommend this treatment to anyone facing a cancer diagnosis. Immunotherapy is the future and Dr. Williams is the cutting edge of research. I’m very fortunate to have come here.
I had a great experience …from the initial consultation with Dr Williams, the communication with Alejandro and Eduardo, the procedure at the hospital, the stay in the hotel near the hospital, and the drivers to and from the hotel. They are all warm, caring individuals and I never felt rushed or hurried. They patiently answered all my questions and treated me with respect and concern.
We are grateful for Dr William and his team giving my wife her second chance at life. Dr William is a brilliant Dr and researcher who should win Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine in our view.We must provide heart felt thanks to Eduardo Cortés in Dr Williams team, who provided care and coordination to get us there and thanks for your patients and empathy. Also we can not forget the WCI driver, Christian once of the nicest people we have met and always on time and thank you for the assistance provided to us specially helping my wife in and out of the car when she was recovering post treatmentAnyone considering WCI there are fair few Australians who had gone there and now long term NED (no evidence of disease) for stage 4 cancer. Everyone should read his book, The immunotherapy Revolution .My wife had stage four metastatic breast cancer. Australia is a great country with free health care for everyone but for stage 4 cancer options are limited, treatment is protocol based, highly regulated, most oncologist already given up on patients in our experience and will not think outside the box even there are other options. Sadly in Australia highly regulated healthcare system is super slow when adopting new innovative treatment options again in our experience for stage 4 cancer. We felt that my wife's oncologist already had given up on her as when we have done research and presented to him with some treatment options, his response was “this is not going to change the outcome for her at the end” basically saying to us she is going to die anyway. We wanted something outside the box. I have contacted numerous researchers in Australia and all over the world some responded, but none offered a solution, I was determined not to give up. My wife's friend in US told her about Williams institute offering some amazing treatment options, I immediately got on internet and look for Williams institute in google only found UCLA school of law, then I tried Williams cancer institute (WCI) thinking this is logical and got into WCI website, contacted them and had an immediate response and they requested to upload all of my wife's pet scans to their portal. We were informed that Dr Williams can treat my wife and subsequent consultation with DR Williams took place in matter of days free of charge, 15 minutes into consultation we realized this is what we are looking for and consultation went for hour and half for us.Upon arrival at Cabo my wife was picked up by WCI driver who took her to the accommodation and then to treatment and back including back to the airport, DR Williams and his team were amazing and medically advance level of care my wife received is something I have not seen before, for example my wife had swelling in her legs since the cancer had started, she had taken number of medication for this in Australia, nothing worked day after her first procedure swelling in her legs was gone. Few days later she had walked over 5 KM to Marina and back at Cabo and no pain in her hips or back, this is a woman who would struggle to walk to the car from the house.Immunotherapy essentially train the body's immune system to fight the cancer. What Dr William did for her was directly injected 9 different immunotherapy drugs in to her cancer, each serving a unique purpose based on her cancer genomics, at the same through CT-guided Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) ablations destroying the cancer, for example some drugs took away ability of the tumor to suppress the immune system, this creating vaccine effect in her body so the immune system started to eat the cancer away.Cabo San Lucas is a beautiful city with many accommodation options, safe and clean city We rented a house had all the facilities very close to the house. If you have stage 4 cancer, I would ask you to consider WCI as this may save your life, I ask everyone to do your own research to find out what WCI does which is unique, in general please research into Immunotherapy and cancer treatment and understand how Immunotherapy works and then look at what WCI does
Dr. Williams Is a life saver! My wife Milagros Alverez after being in the best shape of her life, winning 3 fitness medals discovered a lump under her left arm pit. In a short time she metastasized. After performing all the available treatments in the United States they told her they could not do anything else for her and to get her affairs in order. Not accepting this, we researched all available clinical trials and alternative procedures with one standing out after evaluating the risk to benefit factor as our best option. Doctor Williams is an angel along with his team. In just a short time most of her tumors have 70% necrosis and are shrinking. We are just in the beginning of our treatment but feel we are well on our way to saving her life. I can safely say I highly recommend the Williams cancer treatment center and not to hesitate and speak to them as soon as possible. I thank god every day we made this decision!
Wonderful staff led by the pioneering cancer specialist DR Williams treated me today . I would recommend any stage IV cancer patient in particular consider him. His treatment may be able to save your life when nothing else can. If you are interested, I recommend reading his book and booking a consultation via his website online .
I have had excellent care from Williams Cancer Institute. I highly recommend considering them to anyone who is fighting cancer. This is an amazingly gifted and innovative team to have in your corner.
Dr. Williams is an angel on earth. He has given me a chance when no other doctors would. I'll always be grateful. I've received my first immunotherapy therapy treatment and my tumor is down 2cm. Dr. Williams and Angie fought for me to get the medication I need. He and his team are top notch, first class the whole way. From the consults to the treatment, Dr. Williams prepared, thought outside of the box and did what was best for me. He is smart, caring, and a man on a mission. I feel calm and confident in his care.
